Diamonds, Drop Goals, and a Whole Lot of Split Rooms

From Boston's batting practice to Bradford's rough afternoon, the community had plenty of chances to nail it this week — and plenty of chances to eat some humble pie too. Here's how the calls stacked up.

MLB

The diamond delivered chaos: Boston torched the White Sox 14-2 with the community rightly on board, while Seattle's 0-11 no-show against Detroit still saw the room split down the middle. Best redemption arc goes to the Pirates, who followed a 1-11 hiding from the Mets with a 9-0 statement win — and the community called both correctly.

Australian AFL

Sydney Swans put on a 167-70 exhibition over Port Adelaide and the room saw it coming easily. Brisbane Lions, meanwhile, got the wobbles against Hawthorn and the community sniffed it out too, tipping against them just enough to get it right.

English Rugby League Super League

Warrington ran riot 4-42 over Bradford and Castleford shipped a brutal 0-44 to Hull KR — and in both cases the community backed the wrong horse, proving optimism doesn't always pay off up north.

Australian National Rugby League

Gold Coast's 8-30 collapse against North Queensland left the community split right down the middle at 22-22 — about as fence-sitting as it gets. Elsewhere, the Roosters and Raiders both delivered the goods and the majority called it with confidence.

NFL

Arizona fumbled a late one 30-33 to Carolina, and the community saw the upset coming, siding against the Cardinals before kickoff.
