Yeah Called It (“Called It”, “we”, “us”) operates the Called It app and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both the app and this site.

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address (used to sign you in via a one-time link — we never see or store a password), your display name, your chosen avatar, and your country.

Content you create. Your predictions, league and huddle memberships, comments, reactions, and replies.

Usage and device data. General analytics such as pages and screens viewed, actions taken in the app, browser or device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.

Cookies and similar technology. Essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus analytics cookies (Google Analytics), on-page behaviour tracking (Microsoft Clarity), and, on this marketing website only, advertising cookies (Google AdSense).

How we use it

• To run the app: authenticate you, track your predictions, and calculate scores, rankings, and league standings.
• To operate leagues and huddles you join or create, including showing your display name, avatar, and calls to other members.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as sending sign-in links.
• To understand how Called It is used and improve it.
• To show relevant ads on this marketing website.

How we share it

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Other users — your display name, avatar, country, predictions, and comments are visible to people in your leagues and huddles, or more widely depending on the visibility rules of the feature you’re using.
• Service providers who host and run the app on our behalf, including Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Google (Analytics and, on the marketing site, AdSense), and Microsoft (Clarity).
• Authorities, where we’re required to by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we’ll delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us below. Depending on where you’re based, you may have additional rights under local law — for example the Australian Privacy Principles, or the UK/EU GDPR. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

Children’s privacy

Called It is not intended for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

International transfers

We’re based in Australia, but our service providers host and process data in other countries, including the United States. By using Called It, you understand your information may be processed outside your home country.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
