What the Call: Week in Review

From Atlanta's hot streak to Aussie derby day fireworks, the community had plenty to shout about this week — some calls were spot on, others aged like milk.

MLB

The Braves went on a tear against the Padres and the crowd rode with them for three straight YES calls that all cashed in. The Rockies, meanwhile, couldn't buy a win most nights, and the community mostly saw it coming with a string of correct NOs — except for that one brave YES before an 8-0 shutout loss.

English Rugby League Super League

Wakefield smashed Castleford 52-14 and the majority called it early, while Wigan's 38-16 romp over St Helens caught the crowd napping on a NO. Hull FC's derby day statement win over Hull KR had backers cheering loudest.

Australian AFL

Fremantle's derby demolition of West Coast (112-42) had the majority nodding along correctly, and Brisbane's 126-67 blowout of Port Adelaide was never in doubt for callers. Hawthorn's 132-39 thrashing of Essendon left the NO crowd red-faced.

Australian National Rugby League

Cronulla's 48-12 demolition of Manly saw the majority get it dead right, and Canterbury's win over the Warriors kept the YES faithful smiling. Canberra's 56-10 rout of Wests Tigers, though, left the NO callers looking very smug indeed.
